APPT Auckland Tournament Schedule October 2008 | Auckland Poker - New Zealand
Best Rakeback Deals for Online New Zealand Poker Players

Auckland Skycity has released a tournament schedule here for the Auckland leg of the Asian Pacific Poker Tour.
With satellites being held every week at the auckland casino, look for a good number of local players to compete against the many visiting "so called" pros.

Hey all, I have recently won an APPT main event ticket at the Skycity super-sunday MTT, but unfortunately will be overseas when it starts. Therefore, I am selling the ticket, if anyone is interested please leave a message here.

Hi David, you may ask poker manager Tony. She can sell your ticket to a Tauranga guy at $2500. It's a little low. Up to you! Cheers.

The inaugural SKYCITY Festival of Poker runs from October 4 to 12 and will aim to offer a $1 million prize pool, the largest ever in New Zealand, with hundreds of players expected to enter over the tournament period.

The following world class poker stars are already confirmed to attend:

    - Joe Hachem, 2005 World Series of Poker Champion
    - Chris Moneymaker, 2003 World Series of Poker Champion (first appearance in NZ)
    - Greg Raymer, 2004 World Series of Poker Champion (first appearance in NZ)
    - Lee Nelson, 2006 Aussie Millions Champion and New Zealand's Celebrity Joker Poker co-host
    - Grant Levy, 2007 APPT Sydney Grand Final Champion
    - Eric Assadourian, 2007 APPT Macau High Roller Champion & 2007 NZ Poker Champs winner
    - Emad Tahtouh, 2006 EPT London 2nd Place and noted Australian player

Hey there, Anonymous 1. I could not find Tony :(. Therefore, I am still selling my ticket.

I am trying to sell my ticket as soon as possible as I will definitely not be in New Zealand when the main event starts.

To make this an open process, I have list the details on trademe at http://www.trademe.co.nz/Gaming/Other/auction-176783267.htm

Any questions please leave a message here or on trade me.

    Thanks a bunch :)

Note. I never imagine I would ask people around to buy my ticket, I guess this is my new low for my poker career :P

Thanks for the support again :)

Donkey-attack these so called world class poker stars!

Bluff Joe Hachem! He is capable of laying down a straight with 53. He thinks he is a world class poker star so he can make world class lay downs.

Funny that, he doesn't think he is a world champion, he actually is one.
